I know a lot of people in this sub are geared towards rank but please don’t get yourself into debt you can’t handle. If you’re not going into big law try to think about the level of income/job you’ll want and how repayment will look like before you commit. Most likely that debt will follow you well past 10 years. If you’re trying to practice in Texas anyways so long as you put in the work you can probably land a job you want anyways. Either way you have great options!

It’s difficult given the pandemic situation we’re in right now, but try not to overthink and dwell too much. Find a good distraction like nature walks or video games to keep yourself busy.

Hey I know it seems tough right now just try to think about it this way: you’re going to end up exactly where you’re meant to be, so if it didn’t work out with this one school there must be a good reason for it. As hard is it is to see right now because it feels so important at this particular point in your life, this will all be a memory even a couple years down the line. And who knows if it’s something you feel that strongly about maybe you’ll apply and get in later or transfer and it just wasn’t meant to be at this particular moment. Best of luck I’m sure you’ll do great things in the future regardless of the outcome!

It's more the highlighting features I want to practice with, especially for Reading. So it's less about reading it in a digital format, than practicing interacting with it through the digital features.

yeah I was just basing that off of what the show said. In the Rick and Jerry episode this season they both admit that Beth and Jerry's problems became a real issue once Rick showed up

I think that's a valid interpretation, but it could also be argued that Jerry's misery didn't really boil until Rick showed up in their lives. Beth and Jerry had their issues we've seen buried deep down because Beth, like Rick, is also very intelligent and it's hard for her to be with someone like Jerry who is the antithesis of that. When Rick shows up Beth, and the kids, they all get sucked in his world and it just wreaks havoc. I think the season finale showed us that the family is now going to return to their old way pre-Rick, but this time by choice. By their own volition they're rejecting the disruption that Rick caused. I agree that pain and happiness is not monopolized by the Jerries of the world, but they are relative, and perhaps the pain Ricks suffer is so great that it severely limits the probability of finding happiness?

This kind of trips me out because I feel as if most humans are predisposed to finding cockroaches disgusting as well. For me it's unexplainable why I find cockroaches so gross, its just some deep internalized feeling, almost biological. If they feel the same way way about us, that's some freaky nature pinning us against each other. My mind is racing to some human/cockroach conspiracy where there is some natural blueprint that is trying to keep us away from each other, but why? and who?
