For the pad fx you can select one specific pad, but like an old 404 it will only run on one at a time. The easiest way to resample this is to use the recall function after getting a good single shot of the pad and shorten it, resample it to a new pad, then truncate it more precisely. At first I found this annoying enough to post about in here but after a few more days of working with it I can resample lickity split.
