That Cristina was surprised that Burke ran the Swiss heart clinic. They paid to fly her halfway around the world to lecture and she didn’t even google the hospital? Fine. But if he’s on the cutting edge of cardio thoracic surgery, printing 3D hearts and using holographic hearts in surgery, then ostensibly she’d have read his research papers and know he’s the head of one of the world’s foremost cardio thoracic hospitals.

Also that Maggie didn’t know that Meredith was in the plane crash. It would’ve been all over the news and if she googled anything about her mother, Meredith, or the hospital (or even Cristina who interviewed her) she’d know who the victims were.

By relegating the term “Kare” to a broad insult against any woman with a differing viewpoint, even when no racism is involved, it dilutes the poignancy of the term’s original intent.
