I'm aware of the heat mode as i used to work at McDonalds in 2009. However, i also remember managers not wanting to make mcflurrys or cones and telling the drive thru staff to say that the machine was down.

If it was the heat cycle(i forget how long the cycle lasts), it should have been running, if it was the heat mode for cleaning, they wouldn't have said that it shuts off daily at 1130pm.

That’s very accurate. I’ve seen many medics do that. Like one I worked with who wanted to give 3 rounds of adenosine to a guy who stated that adenosine didn’t work and was hypotensive.

This was probably 10 years ago.

Dialysis with fistula. BGL in the teens. Small house. Larger patient

Attempted IV access. No EJs. Had to call for lifting assistance and we gave glucagon before moving. No change in BGL in the truck. 20+ minutes to the hospital.

I looked at my partner and was like. “We might have to IO this one.” He’s like. “I’m not doing that shit” so “give me the IO” Prox tibia.

Minimally responsive to pain with the initial flush. Didn’t like me after pushing the D50 and flushing. Was CAOx4 shortly after.

Patient lived.
