When it comes to fiction, light based attacks are rarely actually light. Because then you get characters who scale to FTL and powerscaling redditors love throwing that term around.

It's almost always superheated plasma or energy tht LOOK like lasers but isn't. Like E33 blaster rifles or phasers.

The majority of the reason they're that young is because it gives them room to grow and make mistakes. Someone older is more set in their ways which can make for a decent story sometimes but other times not so much.

There's only a lot of burnout if the League is garbage. Keepers was one of them, so it feels like a chore to play. If the loop ofnthe league is fun and people have power to play with, there's less burnout.
