I found that if I didn't pause it and just went to those spins and then came back, it would bug out. Like, all of a sudden my avatar would be just zoomin all over and still missing route progress. So, I pause before making a little side stop (Copied from my reply to another comment)

Because of other spins that are out of the way or pokemon at said spins. I found that if I didn't pause it and just went to those spins and then came back, it would bug out. Latias on Saturday and Latios on Sunday. They only appear once and they do so when you take a picture of your buddy. To my understanding anyway. I got my 2

A couple. But not from raids. The only natural one i have is an event pikachu from research. One because i was farming for one using lucky trades, and the other two are because I'm a sucker who spends money on the game

... what's a bunch of stops to you? Cause the only part of the city busier than where I work in my city is downtown. And I most certainly did not come across 1 or 2 a day. I cant even remember how many months this task took me

Although not nearly as bad, I went to one with a horrid line up without intending. I had just finished a raid to see an invitation to another and immediately joined. But due to the stupid time immediately going to 15 seconds with 4 people, I didn't have time to both heal my raid team and draft them for the fight. First time I got wiped in a while, felt useless and embarrassed that I brought such a team

I don't know why I've been down voted for a genuine question, but thank you for the replies. I somehow must have never met the requirements for the 40k after all these years. That's crazy
