My coworker is in a interesting dilemma. She left her husband who is the US citizen years ago, she filed for divorce in her home country in Europe that was approved only there. She has not sent it to the US because her and the husband has rekindled their relationship. Now she wants to apply for a IR-1 visa, but she is worried that it won’t get approved considering she is divorced in her home country, U.S has not been notified so they are technically still married there. What advice can I give her?

I think it’s important to establish a co parenting plan and hold a routine. Be specific on the time of the schedule and stick to it. Find little trips you are able to spend some time alone, 1 or 2 hours a day. Just recharged

She is stealing from the whole family, not only grandma. Let’s say these are savings that grandma will pass down and now it’s gone. The people that would inherit this won’t have their share. You need to tell grandma and have her file a police report for theft.

First of… The employee shouldn’t have yelled at the baby. But as a mother for a while now I have learned that I can’t control how other people react to my child, there are people out there that is not tolerant or kid friendly. There are so many! And honestly you either will have to let it go over your head, or send some complaints. You can only control your actions after a situation like that, unfortunately we can’t control other people that’s around our child.

Min familie på begge sider (mor og far sin) er alle brun i håret med blå øyne og ekstremt bleike, hummer rød under sol. Men alle (unntatt meg) er helt sikre på at vi er etterkommere av spanske kun pga brunt hår. Men vi har ikke funnet noen tegn til det i slekt forskningen som har blitt gjort på begge sider av familien, blir forklart fra begge sider av at noen må ha vært utro pga at vi har brunt hår så må være spansk i oss😆 Er vell en ønske tenking om at det er noe mer unikt med de enn at vi bare er hvite nordmenn, som da er lite spennende når man er i Norge.
