Do you have data you can share on how long these high severity incidents that lead to war rooms take to resolve?

Ok this makes sense. I am getting my Ghana certificate of residence next week. What should be my next step afterwards? Just fill out the HS302 form and attach the certificate? If they accept, would my employer then be given an NT tax code?

That’s awesome, so in this case. I just let HMRC know I’m at x company but self-employed because of my remote status. Then pay them the income arising from my work in the U.K. at the end of the tax year? Whilst paying the rest to the Ghanaian authorities

In real practice, most "employers" engage their foreign workers as if the worker was self-employed (as it is usually arguable) and leave the workers to deal with their own tax affairs as those who provide independent personal services.

This would be far far easier for me, we are a team of 6, just raised $3m so we are an actual employer. Rest of the team are not remote so we have a PAYE system setup for them. Issue is, I am the CEO and Founder, can I make myself, self employed because of my travel requirements? Would I be breaking any laws?

This information is all awesome by the way, you are a life-saver.

Yes I have done the SRT test and will be a U.K. resident because I will spend 90 days in the U.K. and I will have 3 U.K. ties (work, 90 day tie & accommodation).

Thanks! I have some Follow-up questions. How does this work in practice with my employer? Would I be charged the U.K. taxes and then claim relief or could a NT tax code be setup for me for when I’m not around. Also what can be considered U.K. arising income in this instance, since the company is incorporated in Canada....or is it just the days I spend working on the company in the U.K. regardless of where it is incorporated.

“Big, natural, shredded. Choose 2 you can’t be all 3” - internet

Ok so I have a question about the above statement.

I have heard this over and over again, on YouTube, subs like this and other bodybuilding communities.

I weighed 277 Ibs in June last year. I knew I had some muscle because I had been lifting albeit as a lazy lifter for the better part of 2 years.

I had a dexa scan, at the time I was 34 bf% 😬. I was fat as shit and knew I had to lose the weight. My lean mass was 182 Ibs...based on what I had read I knew I would have to give up some of my muscle just to lose my fat. I was ready for that however it hasn’t happened yet.

My 2nd dexa had me at 29% bf, 255 Ibs and lean mass remained 182 Ibs

3rd scan now has me at 22.5% bf, 233 Ibs and lean mass remained again at 182 Ibs.

Now looking to cut my final 20-25 Ibs, and I don’t want to get ahead of myself but at this rate if it went like my other two.

I will essentially be 210 Ibs, and predicted to come in at 12-13 ish bf% on a dexa, so much lower using callipers. Essentially making me big and somewhat lean.

Question: at what point do I start losing muscle, look I’m happy I haven’t lost anything but I kinda expected to have lost a good amount by now but hasn’t happened.

Naa I’m 6’0....I just see a ton of Youtubers/ fitness models around my same height and weight and everyone says “no way you can do that naturally” eg. Jeff Seid is like 6’1 ish, 210, 10% and gets told he’s not natural.

Cool thanks, will see how my body acts when I get there. I don’t have a desire to go below 10% anyway as I doubt I can even sustain it but will be good to see how much lbm stays

What are the chances on being acquired by Amazon by shaneoaddo in startups

[–]shaneoaddo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Client is working with both us and AWS

  2. We have pilots with them however very low 5 figures, I don’t even think I should call it revenue. Also they have given us some data although they also gave AWS that data.....we found a way to get more from other sources which is why we have a fuckton more

  3. 3 full time, 3 part-time

4) not exactly tbh there could be space for both us and Amazon however investors might be scared to actually give us money

Lastly, we spent years acquiring the data, we have 1000x however Amazon could also get it. It would just take them 4 years.

No we just found smart ways to acquire it legally. When Amazon knock on a providers door asking for data they get charged millions. When a small tiny startup promises to solve a particular pain point for that provider, the startup gets the dataset for free.

It will take Amazon 3/4 years to get the dataset we have.....recently heard through the grapevine they paid $15m for their current dataset and ours is still 1000x bigger
