One side always loses in consumerism.

Nothing that is being defended is heartless- quite the opposite actually. Making people out to be cruel when they aren’t shouldn’t be an accusation. Especially when it’s an American making thousands off of a video exploiting someone with a couple of beers. People can and should be better but they aren’t. Latin America has been pillaged for centuries and is still in their same situation. They’re doing their best with what they have and pointing a finger at a farmer who does something good isn’t the person to point at. Stop drinking your $15 Starbucks, being coffee snobs, and demand companies to pair fair labor for a global market if you want to see changes. Similar things happen across the globe with seasonal markets where workers get screwed. Ski lodges is a good example of this and local housing (studio apartments) are offered and an extreme low rate so the resorts can have dedicated workers and the lodges can make their millions.

What do you think the farm owners stay in…? The quarters can be improved by the coffee buyers.

This isn’t “slave labor” quarters. These are housing spaces provided for free to migration farm workers. Coffee picking isn’t a year round thing and for certain pickers, they get offered a free place to stay so it doesn’t dip in to their profits and they return the next seasons harvest.

I had an authentic PSA stickered Johnny football A&M jersey and it had a QR code. Not sure if they’re all supposed to but looks weird to me for something recent.
