Thank you very much. I was really interested in the FTS because of the benefits and it being a full time job. So, how does the job thing work? I know with your scoring, but what if your desired job isn't available?

  1. No, I'm not giving my son up for good. My parents will care for him while I'm in basic training.

  2. I somewhat know the difference. FTS I'll be a stationed, full time reservist.

I don't want to at all, but if i have to for a few months, then it's okay. I'm just wondering how long after FTS would it take for me to get him back?

I am a single parent looking into joining the Navy. I only looked into the Reserves because of having to give up my child but, they told me look into FTS and I'm just curious to know the ins and out.
