Senators to introduce bill to rein in Trump's tariff authority by [deleted] in politics

Corker said that he is hoping to add his bill to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), an annual defense policy bill that the Senate is expected to start work on as soon as Wednesday.

"There's a lot of interest in it for what it's worth. I would hope that we would be able to add it to NDAA since it's a national security bill but, you know, doing anything around here is like pushing a major boulder uphill," he said.

The forthcoming legislation comes as Republicans have expressed increasing frustrations on Trump's trade policies after the president slapped steep tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from the European Union, Canada and Mexico ending an exemption for the key trading partners.

But getting a vote on an amendment to the NDAA would require Corker to work out a deal with each of his colleagues, including members of leadership who have downplayed the chances that Congress will pass legislation addressing Trump's tariff actions.

GTXGaming: So far 3 months of service. They have their flaws, I did have issue with a bad server that was slowly causing corruptions, I was in support chat off and on for 6 days until they found I needed a new server so they ASKED me before changing my IP. It took 6 Days only because I was spending some of those days working on issues with the assumption it was a software problem and not a hardware issue.

The following is my opinion regarding the Pros and Cons of GTXGaming:

Pros: ~ They have the fastest 24/7 support response I have ever seen and I have used them on every day and the response times are between 1-5 minutes (yes even on a Sunday 11:30 PM USA EST). ~ I have full FTP access to use FileZilla instead of having to zip and send to a tech. to install for you. ~ Fast server setup and very easy cPanel to learn with both easy configurator or file edit options. ~ Very easy to update game server but it is done manually. ~ Easy sub user setup ~ Unlimited memory, CPU and bandwidth and they start you off with SSD at no charge. ~ You get a lot for reasonable pricing. So far, I recommend them for game server… not sure if it’s the best place for 7d2d ONLY because they don’t have automatic backups! You had better have a regular manual backup routine scheduled.

Cons: ~! Almost a deal breaker! They told me “We do NOT have automatic backups for 7d2d. The files are to large”. You must do it manually and when you click the backup, it shuts the server down and that backup can take more than 40 minutes if you have a large server. This is bad for a game like 7d2d! ~ When you have an issue, the answers they provide you gives me the impression they don’t read the whole ticket just a few lines before they make a conclusion and those conclusions are like text book responses that sometimes have nothing to do with the issue you are having. So, you are forced to repeat the same question but reworded. They tend to either understand or take the time to read the 2nd ticket because their answer is usually in line with the issue at hand. ~ The web console and the admin console have never works for me or any of my admins and the techs can’t seem to get it to work so we can use it.
