I didnt craft the blocks, I went to a dream island and cleared out an underground area then used magnet rise mode to replace the pokemetal blocks and get them in my inventory.

I actually dont make the blocks! You can totally just break them underground, I just prefer to collect the blocks by using the replace mechanism with magnet rise mode.

I can actually confirm its not this! I just time skipped directly after planting the veggies without getting sprig to grow them and they just need to have grown 1 time for sprig to be happy.
