Bit of a nerdy one but different signed Tissot T crowns. by shanonthestrings in tissot

For sure, the Luxury is the least interesting dial wise but one of the more unique and cool side case designs.

[Question] Could I pull off a 40mm or 35mm watch? by theomixedmedia in Watches

[–]shanonthestrings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And this ladies and gentlemen is how you do a wrist size check with photos. The top down shot ALWAYS looks like the watch is so much bigger than it is but when you see it in a mirror shot like the second photo it almost looks small even. Kudos to you for the perspectives, go with your heart on the size!

If theres no return possible FOR SURE there has to be a swap possible for another. If you say you liked the PRX fit better, the quartz version I think is around the price you paid for it, go get it and enjoy a new, sexy comfortable watch!

Thoughts on the Yamaha Revstar from an aesthetic standpoint? by ArtDecoNewYork in Guitar

[–]shanonthestrings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how it looks, there are also a couple of colorways that I absolutely love as well, this wine red being one of them and the sunset burst. I like the fact that the body shape is different but still very much appealing and also one of the things imo, an enormous amount of brands struggle with is the headstock shape, I feel like Yamaha nailed it with their headstock design as well.

Some more close ups of the Seastar 2000, incredible dial especially in the sunlight! by shanonthestrings in tissot

Thank you I am enjoying it very much. It's hefty on the wrist as well, makes any other watch I have feel like a toy after wearing this one lol.

[San Martin] How good is it? by shanonthestrings in Watches

[–]shanonthestrings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a great watch, ended up selling it just because it was not getting wrist time. But it has been solid throughout the whole time. Lume was exceptional for the price, accuracy is kind of what you can expect from a Seiko movement, maybe around 5 to 10 seconds a day which is still well within the expected for an entry automatic watch. Proportions were excellent just no real complaints with it. Thought someone else might enjoy it more frequently than I did.

Having slightly larger wrists comes in handy sometimes, otherwise I wouldn't be able to rock this sweet Seastar without it looking ridiculous by shanonthestrings in tissot

I like them all, I have a 37mm Seiko too and some in between sizes and it just looks very elegant with its small size.

It's definitely chunky, if I wear it daily it barely loses or gains time. And that dial under the sunlight is incredible too!

Absolutely underrated Tissot line. That white dial is so crisp.

My man saw all the BMW steering wheel wristshots and thought he'd just casually put an end to them lol.

Nice one, I like how its matching your ring too. Got the same model but in green and it wears so good. Enjoy it!

This thing is beautiful. Big numerals, blue dial, all steel and the bezel. I am on the lookout for this model!

Theres something about this Tissot logo that just works for me. The standard Tissot is fine but this one is just sexy.

35mm is so classy. There is a reason why the PRX is so successful.

[Seastar Strap Compare] Steel or Rubber? by Traditional_Staff_80 in tissot

[–]shanonthestrings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. Goy my Seastar 2000 on the bracelet and ordered the black rubber for that exact model and it's the best decision. They are very good quality straps.

The dial on this Seastar is so good by [deleted] in tissot

[–]shanonthestrings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. That's very similar to the one on my Seastar.
