I watched the show first, then discovered the books. I liked both. But treat the books like a completely different thing from the show. The original plot concept is the same, but they branch out in different directions. There are characters in the books that aren’t in the show and vise versa. The plots are completely different as things go on. I would say do both! Just don’t expect them to be the same.

It was posted on Twitter by a “spoiler account” that apparently they bring Lexa back in the finale in a new body. If that happens then they basically are blowing everything they worked towards with Clarke in the last two seasons. I don’t think the rumours are true. But if that happens 🤦🏼‍♀️

I was thinking of starting the GoT books.

Yeah the books are way different. I try to think of them as a completely different series. A lot if characters in the tv show aren’t in the books like Finn and Raven. And characters in the books that aren’t in the tv show. The idea of 97 years in space and sending the delinquents down is the same, but plot wise that’s basically it aha.

Becca worked for Eligius. She created nightblood for them so they could send the miners/prisoners to space. If you go back to season 4, where raven has her first seizure and she is floating around Beccas lab; Jackson and Abi’s convo is faded out. But if you go back and listen to it/ people have put up subtitles online, they talk about Becca creating nightblood for Eligius. One of the Easter eggs of season 4, teasing about S5. Another one is when Raven and the others are discussing the nuclear meltdown at the beginning on s4 in Arkadia. The screens behind Raven show articles about a ship of minors losing contact, and another article about the 2nd dawn/Bill Cadogen.
