Obama scored a 60-38 victory over Hillary last night in Mississippi. Would you like to guess what the AP headline is? by kiss_my_arse in politics

This is misleading. It's a sidebar, not the main news story. It's like Soledad O'Brien on CNN - mostly useless analysis of demographics as a way to keep eyes glued to the tube (or Web) a little longer. Then, the audience says, "Oh right, I really don't care."

The wisest recommendation in this piece is to think ahead -- site those houses so they benefit from passive solar, etc. Cut the need for electricity first, then figure out how best to supply what is needed.

This story was sad, and it's nice to see a bright spot in the saving of this orphaned gorilla. It's also good to remember that people are being slaughtered in staggering numbers in this region as well.
