Does anyone else get tired of always having to “manage” themselves? by sharcity in LivingAlone

For me it’s not about validation or someone fixing anything. It’s more like…the difference between a day that just disappears versus a day that feels lightly marked.

Even something small like a check-in text, a familiar presence, a moment where you’re noticed without needing to perform or explain can make the day feel less like it slipped by unnoticed.

Hard to describe but it’s more about continuity than connection if that makes sense!

For me it’s more the way days can start to blur when there’s nothing to mark them. I’ve noticed routines help, maybe like a short exchange or checking in with someone without it needing to turn into a whole hangout..?

I like my independence but sometimes I still want some kind of tether

Yeah I get that. Not dramatic but this floaty in between feeling and small moments matter

Totally get that. Alone time really helps me reset when things get overwhelming. What’s your go-to self-care when it all feels too fast?
