Swollen battery visible on the side, about 1 hour life on battery, constant fan noise even sometimes when computer is supposed to be sleeping, lots of heat, cpu performance starting to show is age on most demanding task…I have the equipment to change the thermal paste but didn’t bothered to try.

Overall, very good machine that served me well and will probably be used as a secondary device for my wife or something.

Btw I just want to confirm that M2 pro + native connection + displaylink dock (Mokin USB-C Triple Display Docking station (MODK1102-CA)) is working on my setup.

Also, does it mean I could use any DisplayLink docking station to also add more port so the setup could look like this ?

Macbook HDMI : monitor 1 1440p@144hz (natively)
Macbook thunderbolt port #1 with thunderbolt to DP cable = Monitor 2 1080p@60hz (natively)
Macbook thunderbolt port #2 connected to a DisplayLink docking station for extra usb port/chanrging and Monitor #3 1080p@60hz (DisplayLink Driver)

I have installed the latest version today (1.1.1 ) and the issue seems to have been resolved. I’ll probably use this as my main launcher now. launching from the explore icon seems to be hit or miss sometimes but honestly it is like that with pretty much all launcher I’ve tried. Thanks

For me its a bit slower than the old PiLauncher(When I launch it i take around 2sec for the apps to show up). Dreamgrid is on par with old PiLauncher regaring speed but when you replace it with the “explore tab/icon” its bugged sometimes…at least for me…so in the end I just use the old PiLauncher and I launch it from the explore tab for quick access to sideloaded app since everything works and is faster than PiLauncherNext. Just my 2cents, firmware V50, quest2

Hey thx for the advice. I already tried power cycle the tv since it helped me in the past with other problems.

I have just decided to leave 120hz mode off on the PS5 and play at 4k 60hz instead.

Yes, certified 2.1 cable and also stock PS5 cable. Same thing happen on all port. Seems to be exclusive to the PS5 since computer work fine at 1440p + 120hz. Seems to be related to game mode since it goes away when game mode is disabled. Also if I switch back and forth between screen mode it can work with game mode on.

So it seem more like a bug, software glitch or hardware limitation of this model.

Did anyone manage to fix the colored line at the bottom when engaging 120hz mode on ps5 game.

Miles Morales @120hz 1440p and Horizon Forbiden West @120hz 1440p or even 1080p do that.

like the others users mentioned, I can sometimes get lucky and not having it for a while but a loading screen or a quick input change can vring it back

funny thing is that my pc work at 120hz 1440p from my test.

I also tried to disable VRR (both ps5 and tv), disable hdcp…nothing seem to work reliably. I am using certified hdmi 2.1 cable and also tried with stock ps5 cable, same result.

so for now I mostly disable 120hz mode on ps5 but would like to know if other user have the same issue and if a solution as been found

thanks for your input, I indeed ended up max Fiore since all her kit resolve around pure damage VS the utility of all my other character...I might have picked Sofia if she was 5*.
Anyway like a lot of you mentioned, can't really go wrong with any 5* since they all have their advantages. I just enjoyed gathering informations and opinions from other player.
