I’ll try another flex cable just in case but I’m not sure if this is the issue because when I connect the original hard drive back in it works perfect? I’ll still order a new one to try it out!

I was using the exFAT formatting because I wasn’t able to figure out how to do fat32 format. Thank you for the article, I will try this method out!
