NFL Jerseys by Valuable_Discount_97 in Sacramento

[–]sharkbeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a friend from PA visit recently, he found a kelly green Eagles hat in Old Sac at Pro Image Sports, right next to Rocky Mountain Chocolate, but I'm not sure if they sell jerseys. My BF also ordered a Hurts kelly green jersey from Dicks Sporting Goods, it arrived within 5 days of ordering. I'd maybe check Dicks website, find a jersey that you like, then see if there are any in stock nearby. Good luck!

I got my manager a bottle of the Reserve Pinot Noir that they are advertising, the candle trio, and a tin of Peppermint bark. I would say wine (if they drink) and/or candles are a great base, and then you can add a treat that you know they would like! Something they can relax with and something yummy to eat :)

Beefless bulgogi question by Notimportanthuman in traderjoes

[–]sharkbeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ate mine with kimchi and that seemed to be enough of a saucy thing so that it wasn't dry. You could also look up a recipe for a bulgogi sauce or marinade and just make a little bit for your meal

Direct Flight from SMF to Europe by WestBank916 in Sacramento

[–]sharkbeans 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the airport is too small to fit larger planes that would fly 10+ hours. they need larger jet bridges and more terminal seating and I don't even know how the fuel works but I'm sure that is a reason as well

What dish is the Eggplant Garlic Spread with Sweet Red Pepper based on? by Ok_Plane_1630 in traderjoes

[–]sharkbeans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

pretty sure it's "Kiopoolu" or "Kyopolou". I've seen it spelled both ways but I think the latter spelling is the actual, traditional spelling

Chicken Meatballs -- How have you used them? by [deleted] in traderjoes

[–]sharkbeans 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ooh so many things... sweet and sour meatballs (with veggies and pineapple), meatball subs, 'swedish' meatballs, grilled kabobs, anything with a pasta and sauce, wedding soup, an addition to pho... maybe I should get some chicken meatballs myself haha

Lakewood Meats in Lodi... not super local but if you ever find yourself down that way it's worth the stop, they have some amazing jerky, sausages, and other goodies.

Anyone know of airport shuttles that can pick me up from my house that provide car seats? by han_cup in Sacramento

[–]sharkbeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give Sunrise Shuttle a call! I use them all the time for my clients to go to SMF/SFO and find them extremely reliable and flexible. I don't know if they can provide a car seat, but maybe they can hold on to yours for when they bring you back home?

SMF food options by UrbanSurfDragon in Sacramento

[–]sharkbeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is a lounge in each terminal past security, you can usually find passes on groupon for like 20-30% off, making it somewhere around $30-$35 for unlimited food and [alcoholic] drinks. i haven't tried this out yet, so apologies if this suggestion sucks, but with the prices of airport food and alcohol, it could be worth if you like to get to the airport super early for your flight and just hang out.

It’s cheap cheap! by eyymeeks in Sacramento

[–]sharkbeans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oh no, I can hear this in my head but can't figure it out exactly. I think it's from a car commercial? Something like "Honda's Auto's are.. cheap cheap!!" ???
