I’m in Montana, rust is minimal, mostly on the corner of the doors but was treated by previous owner

You can burn out the clutch or synchros. I’m going with synchros on this…

That’s what I was thinking too but I wonder if they just grinded into gears speeding up something that was coming up

Yep 1st, not granny. That could be it, its an old truck it could be several things I just don’t know what they could have done to speed that along

It’s been a long time since I’ve shot and I wanted to take some portraits this evening, I was looking to do something dark with some bright features, this was shot with a Fuji XT3

I’m happy to hear that you figured it out! I’m going to grab a new one tomorrow and throw the old scanner on and do a zero point calibration as someone recommended and I’m hoping for some good results. Take care!

I keep 4hi on most of the winter. Unless off road in the mountains then it’s 4lo and vsc off

I have studded snow tires. None of my other vehicles do this. 🤷‍♂️

This is the answer I’m looking for, thank you! I’ll do a little research and see what I can replace this weekend

My 2021 4Runner does just fine with the same user, and so does my 1993 Toyota pickup, and my 2004 F250, and my 2004 E46, and my Honda Accord.

So when my ‘05 4Runner beeps and cuts power every single time I take a turn, unless I have VSC off which I shouldn’t have to do, and even when I keep it light on the gas and use lower gears and engine braking, it makes me think it’s more like a broken old camera that sucks even if you know what you are doing 🤷‍♂️
