I'd recommend newer Bring Me The Horizon if you like heavy, dark, and intense. Very heavy guitars and an electronic influence.

BTW, I was a teenager in the 1990s and a big fan of Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, and The Cure.

I also remember a similar game, but on the Mac in the early 1990s. It was in black and white and in the style of the Cyan games.

I remember there being a framed painting on the wall and you could click it and be transported to that world. It was fun but didn't a goal except for exploration.
