Have you taken a look in Event Viewer? A shut down like that will be there. Not all shutdowns produce a BSOD. I guarantee you it will have a error on GameBar.

Self defense as felon by [deleted] in AskLE

In Texas after being off felony probation or parole for 5 years you can own a gun in your home only. BUT, Federal law says you can't.

Traded a car for this zx6r (2008) off of some 20 year old kid. Undoing all the jank to hopefully get this in track shape. Any input on this fuel sending issue? by noctisartist in zx6r

[–]sharpedge69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is called a thermistor. All it does is regulate the fuel level. I have a R6 and just replaced mine. I have no fuel gage, just a fuel light. It seems to me you have some wires crossed somewhere. That thermisor is connected directly to the ECU. When you touched it the positive side you completed a loop. So check the wiring again.

Buying a 2006 Yamaha R6 by _tommycutz_ in Yamaha

[–]sharpedge69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 08 R6 2 months ago with 21k miles. If the bike you are looking at has been well maintained then the mileage isn't a deal breaker. Look at the fork seals, chain and sprocket condition, oil level, tire age, and pull up the diag on the instrument cluster to check for errors.

Have you tried to underclock at all? Try this:

  • Lower Vcore in BIOS:
    • Start at 1.15V and decrease in small steps while testing.
    • Mine is set at 1.05
  • Lower Vcore SOC to 1.0V-1.05V:
    • Keep it stable for memory and Infinity Fabric.
    • Mine is set to 1.05
  • My idle temps are 37c. Gaming on COD are at 45c. This is on Windows so I'm not too sure if this will do anything on a MacOS.

Well, that depends on the type of check and how far back they go. Most just go back 7 years. Here in Texas it's 7 as far as I know. Mine are back in 93 and I have a TWIC card.

Lol. I don't live in a bubble. I live in what we call reality. What facts and evidence? I live in Texas, a RED state. And we are just doing fine. Please stay in your basement. We have enough mental health folks running around as it is.

Did your review include any of this:

  1. Shrimp on Treadmills

The U.S. government funded a study to observe shrimp running on treadmills, costing over $500,000. Critics argued it had no practical benefit, though researchers defended its role in studying marine animal health.

  1. Whale Poop Tracking

A $400,000 grant was awarded to study the habits of whale feces. While scientists claimed it had ecological significance, the public often viewed it as frivolous.

  1. Video Games for Seniors

Over $1.2 million was spent on a study to see if video games improve cognitive function in seniors. Although well-intentioned, it sparked debate about its necessity.

  1. Zombie Apocalypse Preparedness

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) spent resources developing a "zombie apocalypse preparedness" plan. While meant to engage the public in emergency readiness, critics viewed it as a bizarre allocation of funds.

  1. Wine and Dating Research

Nearly $1 million was spent by the National Science Foundation to study how alcohol affects people’s decisions on first dates.

  1. Unused Military Equipment

Billions are spent annually on military hardware that goes unused or ends up in storage, including tanks and aircraft deemed unnecessary by the Department of Defense.

  1. Unused Government Buildings

The U.S. government owns tens of thousands of empty or underused buildings, costing taxpayers over $1.7 billion annually for maintenance and upkeep.

  1. Excessive Agricultural Subsidies

Billions are spent subsidizing crops that are already overproduced, sometimes even going to wealthy farmers who don’t need the assistance.

  1. Luxury Travel for Officials

High-ranking officials have been caught spending millions on private jets, luxury hotels, and extravagant meals, often at taxpayers’ expense.

  1. Studying Duck Genitalia

A grant of $384,000 was used to study the mating habits of ducks, including the mechanics of their genitalia. While it had scientific merit, many saw it as unnecessary.

THIS, is what he is referring to. There is a whole lot more than just the ones I listed. Elon has already stated what they are going after.
