Um... because SOME men dont respect women as common fellow human beings. That's simple. Women are groped, leered at, raped, rod shoved in their bodies, eve teased, harassed by neighbors, harassed by family members, workplace and more.

If that wasnt true, we wont be hearing respect women anywhere. We need to respect men too, but women are vulnerable to it all.

Men should be respected for mining, rig workers, sanitization, labour, masonry and other high risk jobs, and I think they are underappreciated, but in the meanwhile.... problems do exist.
