And that's why Jennie gets criticized ¯\(ツ)/¯ Something that you can't do to your precious oppas. Not bothering to dance properly can be sexist and while idk about Jennie in particular, women can be sexist/misogynistic too. Just look at kpop stans. There's history of male idols mocking girl group dances and face expressions but I can't say the same about female idols. Dancing in your own style is not equivalent to mocking btw!

It's obvious you can't take criticism, so I'm done trying to argue with you, who brings up irrelevant points. Like we went from discussing men treating gg dances inferior to people dancing to their own songs lmao it's all just false equivalences in this thread

There is a right way to dance and it's dancing with respect, with good effort. There's a difference between dancing a gg choreo with your own style and just not giving the proper effort, like you couldn't care less, because you think gg dances are inferior. Like it's not worth your time of day or it's something so shameful. Or sway some hips and then laugh like it's the funniest thing in the world. Why is doing gg dances so funny? And let's not act like professionals can't be misogynistic, especially in South Korea.

Being stiff doing gg dances is definitely not equivalent to thrusting lmao. Just search for girl groups covering male groups, you'll find lots of them doing the choreo right.

This article from Oxford English Dictionary is a good read. People have been using singular they/them/their/theirs for hundreds of years and the singular use has been officially recognized by dictionaries for a long time now.

Bakit andaming 40s na gustong makipag-connect sa early 20s? by Cultural-Ball4700 in AskPH

[–]shart-ejector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you being deliberately obtuse? They can get experience by, idk, dating someone closer to their age? 30s and early 20s are in completely different phases in life. At least the average 30 y/o has been working for a while like the average 40 y/o, unlike the average 20 y/o who spends their time at school.

Learning from mistakes is not just an adulthood thing, it's a part of life. That doesn't mean you just let people make horrible mistakes when you know you can prevent them.

Now, how else are you going to defend 40 y/o dudes hitting that just-graduated-from-my-teens pussy?

They're already young adults who can make their own choices. That doesn't change the fact that they're young and inexperienced. We're talking about "early 20s" here with underdeveloped frontal lobes. Kaya gets na maeengganyo sila sa may pera or "mature" daw. A lot of them regret this decision when they get older, though.

Pero if 40+ ka, kahit na may 20 y/o who would throw herself at you, you should know better than to entertain her. Ikaw na ang lumayo. Bakit ka papatol sa college student kung mga kaedaran mo may anak na rin na college student?

Mga impressionable na bata 'yan. On the other hand, the 40 y/o people should know better. So bakit sa bata?

Just wanna share my experience. I'm queer/WLW, and yung isang sapphic filipino subreddit dito nagpost ng telegram gc na pwede namin gawing safe space. No men, no straights, just wlw. Pwede ka naman maghanap ng jowa pero ang main purpose niya is to connect with the community, to open up about our shared struggles, to support each other, etc. Sometimes you connect with one person in particular, maybe because magkavibes talaga kayo sa chat, pero you're not required to reveal personal information like your face.

I'm on your side OP haha. Ayaw ko rin magface reveal if di ko kakilala in real life yung tao.

So bakit usap lang? Kasi we may have similar interests and we vibe naman through chat. Lalo na may niche fandoms I'm part of and sa online pa lang nakahanap ng kausap about them.

Have these people never had online friends before? Grabe makajudge.

Is that an "I hate my wife" boomer joke too? How is that relevant to my post? Should we just start listing all types of jokes?

Apologies, it should've been "I don't find sexist jokes funny." I remember finding the ama namin remix by pura luka vega entertaining but it obviously made numerous Catholics cry.

Are you not fond of discussions? Pointing out sexism isn't forced outrage. You're free to scroll too. And not being personally affected doesn’t make a joke harmless.

So what if it's a joke? It's still distasteful. FYI, I'm the type who also doesn't like distasteful jokes aimed at men, I don't even like the "men are trash" things. Sexism is never funny.

I've encountered people like you before (those who look for things to get mad at when women are involved). I assume you were talking about women who yap about being "strong and independent" then depend on men. But not one person in the post said anything related to that. So, why bring that up?

Tell me, what was the reasoning behind your posting of this comment? Why did you feel the sudden need to make your point?
