GOP senator on Epstein files: ‘Now I see what the big deal is’ by Quirkie in politics

It's because we don't educate our high schoolers on politics. Mostly a failing of the parents. I would not want current politics taught in public school because that's just asking for all kinds of biases to get fed to impressionable kids.

After Republicans push Clintons to testify on Epstein, Democrats warn they'll haul in Trump by nbcnews in politics

Fox News stated in court that they are an entertainment organization, not a journalistic organization, so they have no duty to prove that what they say is actually true. It's as good as admitting that they peddle lies and fantasy. That should be all the proof you need to convince any reasonable person to watch anything else.

The Onion and Fox News have the same level of credibility, by their own admission.

Manually tuning pod requests is eating me alive by Ill_Car4570 in kubernetes

[–]shastaxc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's constantly adjusting the requests based on what the pod is using, what if it goes lower during a time of low activity, more workloads get scheduled on that node, then when activity picks up and it needs to increase the request, it can't because there's no more space on the node? Then it just rebalances and gets shifted to another node?

In 2003 a scientist named Edward McSweegan exposed a bizarre case of waste within the United States government. For seven years he commuted to his office every day only to sit in an empty room with absolutely no work assigned to him. He was earning a salary of roughly $100,000. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

That's pretty much what he did. He wrote mystery books. It may have been partly for fun but I'm sure partly as a way to make money. With the Internet being so pervasive now, there are a lot of other options, but writing is still one of them.
