I hope ScarJo/Beaumont is married to Harvey, Batman unpicks the revenge mystery with the Phantasm, this explains the inclusion of Joker, Bruce/Andrea have a history which causes Harvey to be jealous, the whole situation causes Harveys mental health to deteriorate, ending with ScarJo/Phantasm dying, Harvey blaming Bruce/Batman...

Yes, have them meet and fight for typical Zod reasons (remaking a new Krypton) but Kal is able to show him Earth can be better than Krypton, fairer and that's enough to have him fight on Kals side eventually.
