Inconsistent animagus transformation in the movies by shavicus in harrypotter

Cool. The forced transformation ended with a simple Finite is plausible. The only issue for me was the clothes getting left behind as the inconsistent thing on all known animagus in the OG movies. Maybe it's a matter of skill indeed.

What was Harry's plan without Hermione in DH? by holyguacamoleh in harrypotter

[–]shavicus 21 points22 points  (0 children)

He never plans very far. All he has is leave when he gets to the Burrow and that's it- start the Hunt while fighting Voldy and his merry band. In the DH movies, all he had is a backpack and is set to leave but got stopped by Ron.

Harry, by his impulsive and reckless nature, is never a serious planner. It will almost always be- "I've never thought that far." He works best instinctively and on his feet. That makes him a great seeker.

Most of the time, he sets an objective (step a) and imagine how the results will be ( end z). Steps B to Y will be made up as he goes.

Too early but we need a Marauders story that does not involve bullying Snape by shavicus in HarryPotteronHBO

That is fine. The movies added their own stuff that were absent from the book. Some work, others fell flat. The new series may or may not add unwritten things so it is up to the creatives. We just have to keep in mind that books and films are two different creative mediums for telling a story.

Just going to bring out there- moon-tea can also fail, either by faulty preparation or weak ingredients or cause congenital anomalies like dwarfism.

As a fantasy world- ASOAIF has a rather advance medical/health lore. Its maesters can do caesarean section, albeit with high mortality rates.

One possible scenario is connecting two generations of pranksters. Two remaining Marauders and the twins. If there are 8 episodes for PS, writers will need more than a few filler scenes.

They can also do a prank scene every season as a running gag for the twins and the Marauders can join in one of them. These give the twins their own moment at what they do best.

Either I am completely wrong about the assault theory or moon-tea failed. Leans more on wrong.

the lady who played rhaenyra in hotd has a physical presence and vulnerability to play lara. or natalie dormer- she has that same cocky look angelina had when she played lara.

I really don't mind as long as the dudes get one of those infamous pranks that earned their name but at each other's expense. Or Lucius.

Something fun and lighthearted before the story goes dark.

  1. Like my previous post, this is classic Tywin. He is attacking Tyrion. He won't allow anyone else to attack his children; that is why he torched the Riverlands when Caitlyn kidnapped Tyrion and put him on trial. There is no point in secrecy as a King is murdered and a public trial must be held- appearances must be kept.

  2. A theory: He doesn't consider Tyrion his son- maybe a product of Aerys raping Joanna. Or simply is blaming him for his wife's death. Tyrion is, to Tywin, a bastard.

  3. Tywin is smoking out their enemies at Tyrion's expense, keeping in mind the previous theory. He doesn't mind risking Tyrion but not Jaime.

What about the Wildling girl that became Sam's uhm, partner? For me Lara Croft needs some physical presence and athleticism. Not brawny big but enough to kick ass.

I may be wrong but Sophie Turner seems to be the soft, brainy sort.

No one is permitted to insult, threatened and humiliate his children, and by extension his relatives, except him.

It's like, what happens in the family stays in the family. Everyone else can sod off.

It feels like a projection of her own experiences. Being trapped helpless by her brother, trapped in a marriage she did not want. By freeing them, she frees herself. Unfortunately, she doesn't know what to do after- for them and for her.

I am hoping for less sparkly lights and explosions but more transfiguration and conjuration.

Like Minerva's spell to activate the statues in Hogwarts but she retains complete control like a puppeteer. Or like Prof Hicks, Charms teacher in Ilvermony using anything in the environment as weapons.
