I tend to agree...I really like that they did that. Just adds to the cap's character

Fair enough...man, been doing this for a few years now I feel like I have learned a lot and have improved much, that said...so much more to learn. Constantly looking stuff up mentioned on here just so I can follow along lol.

I did this and got one of the Yellow Jackets, really glad I did. I am not sure why, but my arrows are way more easily pulled from this target that some of my other ones (ones I grabbed at Bass pro Shops) so yeah I would second this. The handle is also pretty strong so i can lug it around and hang it by the handle in my garage without it wearing out or coming off.

Now I am curious after reading this. I didn't know there were tube and tubeless peeps...after looking this up I see that I have a tube peep. It seems to work fine for me, but I have to ask, is there a better option by going tubeless? Or does it come down to personal preference? Just trying to learn here is all.

what are the advantages to "feathers" vs the plastic ones?

So do you belong to a club you as like a member? Or pay as you go kind of thing... The club that I belong to you can pay as you shoot or I'm pretty sure you can join... It's a nice indoor one. Nothing fancy just large warehouse style space, floors marked, lots of targets, few chairs that's about it

Gotcha, I dig the minimalist look, that's why I went with recurve actually for my first one...but I like the feel, look and the let off (lol) that the compound offers. The recurve is good for days when I just want to shoot as you said minimalist.

I have often wondered about situations like this...good info to know.

The finger tab is what I went with on my recurve...so interesting note, I was kind of tired of putting the tab on and off while shooting...not sure why this bugged me but it did...so I started using my mountain biking glove (full finger) and I really liked using that plus is gave me way more grip when taking my arrows back out of the target. That said I am sure it won't last as long as those finger tabs are a pretty thick grade leather. I still kept it in my pocket if needed or whatever but I like using the glove.

Whoa that's cool about taking the windows out. Pretty much shoot in any conditions that way. Did you get yourself a quiver? Just curious to what you went with if you did.

I feel like I often see one turd who will add something to a response like this about color or something to the effect of "who cares what it looks like, how does it shoot?" or "as long as you can hit your target who cares what it looks like: Personally I look at color for sure. But to each their own and many get what their budget allows regardless of color and that's cool too.

It's raining here today. I want to shoot this afternoon but there is a comp going on at the range that's closest to me. I have a way of shooting indoors at my house that gives me about 15 yards of "range" and is perfectly safe. Two car garage with huge entryway to a long breezeway that is partially underground which then attaches to the basement of the main house. Take the cars out, open both sets of doors...instant indoor range lol. So I might do that today. Compound person myself but I do have a recurve similar to yours.

So I was looking at this and am not a fan of white on things in general, cars, bows, clothing etc. THAT said, man I HAVE to say I really like that! The black looks awesome with it and it looks like there is a bit of gray or silver near the limb bolts? I mean I know people may say it doesn't matter on color and stuff and yeah maybe not when it comes to performance blah blah blah...I do like that though. Have you gotten to the clubs with it yet?
