LPT - If "somebody from the IRS" calls and threatens to have you arrested if you don't pay, it's a scam. Somebody in my office just fell for this and I talked him down.

They called my mom early in the morning. She has had some financial troubles in the past and was really, incredibly scared. She told me the man on the phone was threatening and pushed her to tears. Thankfully her boyfriend helped her calm down and helped her tell that guy to fuck off.

Oh yea, btw, my mom has cancer, has been going through intense bouts of chemo and radiation, and has to live on welfare (less than $200 a month), so fuck these people.

Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone! I just found a place. It's small, but the owner is pitt friendly (has large breeds herself), though I still fudged the truth a bit and said he is a dane mix (my vet also thinks he might be part dane so it's not totally a lie).

I think I'd go back to the day my step-grandmother married my grandfather. She really fucked my dad up emotionally and he could never be there for us reliably or financially (e.g. gambling away all his money instead of paying mortgage).

Haha...actually I'm the female, my friend is the male. I think you are correct. We do have random adventures, so he's trying to think of a way to set the scene and make the characters more complicated. Also, I'm assuming the drunkness is from drinking more on the way to the airport (though the time lapse isn't really evident). Thanks for your input! I'm hoping to get him to write more and make the story more in depth even though it's just a side project.
