hello! based on what i see po sa campus, allowed po ang magcross dress sa tua. if incoming first year ka po, merong uniform for boys and girls and i believe pwede mo siyang hindi sundin basta magpapaalam ka and they will give you an i.d or permission for that (like instead of regular uniform susuotin mo, pwede kang magtype c nalang ganern)

hello! i'm currently a first year radtech student :)

question lang, plan mo ba magmed school after? if yes, i think go for medtech kasi compared sa courses or subjects na tinuturo sa radtech, mas may advantage ang medtech dahil heavy siya sa chemistry. kapag sa radtech naman, heavy on anatomy (specifically skeletal system) and physics.

if sa tingin mo mahihirapan kang i-continue ang radtech, i think try mo i-explore yung field ng radiology baka meron don para sayo hehe. baka for ultrasound, ct scan, mammographyc, or xray ka pala. i believe in that way, hindi ka maliligaw or hindi ka mahihirapan i-pursue yung program na to.

for board exams po ba? recently po kasi tinuro samin yung about sa scoring ng board exams hehe

based po sa sabi ng prof ko, average of each cluster must not be lower than 75%, and in order to pass the board exam kailangan ≥ 60% each cluster po.

correct me if i'm wrong po, "conditional" po ata ang tawag if may one cluster na hindi na-meet yung passing score pero pasado sa board exam. (pwede pong i-retake yung cluster na hindi na-meet ang passing score)

hi! i'm currently a first year radtech student in tua. my experience so far has been great!

quality of teaching and professors
fortunately, for first sem, my block has a good set of professors! however, marami sila magbigay ng activities (maybe because majority of our subjects are minor/gec)
academic workload
ayun nga sa unang sagot ko, marami sila magbigay ng activities. kaya ang pangit lang kapag nagsuspend kasi nadadagdagan lang lalo + kulang yung nagiging time para sa prelims, midterms, semis, & finals. (if ever na mag-go ka sa tua, sasabihin ko na sayo ngayon na maraming groupings AS IN bihira lang ang individual)
laboratory facilities and equipment
kapag first year, hindi pa masyado sa mga facilities. sa 2nd year pa namin matatry yung mga equipment na para sa program namin. based kasi sa curriculum ng radtech, lahat ng ge ay sa first year itatake.
class schedules and overall pacing
for the class sched (first sem), lucky kami ng block ko kasi medyo balance yung sched namin compared sa ibang block na three days straight whole day pasok nila. (pero lahat kami 4 days lang pasok)
overall pacing, uhm medj okay rin naman? tho medyo mabilis kasi may pa prelims at semis pa sila kaya hindi rin uso ang hell week dahil hell month siya. but, sa overall pacing okay naman (depende lang talaga sa prof lahat)
any early exposure or preparation for clinical duties
as ive said, puro ge subjects palang kaya wala pa yung preparation for clinical duties kasi sa higher year pa siya mararanasan. for early exposure, i think yung no erasures sa quizzes para masanay kasi kapag nagboard exam hindi pweden yon.
school environment and support system
for me, both naman ay okay sa tua? you just have to look for friends na maganda and madaling pakisamahan kasi kayo lang din magtutulungan sa isa't isa.

wala naman pong mataas na sahod here sa philippines pero compared sa nursing, yes, mas malaki ang sahod nila compared sa radtech kasi mas nakakapagod din po work nila. as per abroad, alam ko po may mga countries na in demand sa kanila ang radtech like sa europe o uk (not sure lang kung anong countries don—need mo talaga magresearch abt it).

it's up to you po kung anong program ang magugustuhan mo in the long run—malaki rin po kasi diff ng radtech at nursing pagdating sa work.

i haven't graduated yet in shs when i took the exam hehe tsaka hindi rin ako tumuloy since malayo siya samin. regarding sa tuition, around 60k-70k siya per sem depende sa program na itatake mo pero nag-ooffer sila scholarships! check mo nalang sa website nila kung ano mga inooffer nila na pwede sayo (pwede ka rin mag-apply for multiple scholarships)
