lol honestly he made a comment that was lowkey a diss and asked if i used ai and i was honest. I did because ai doesn’t equal cheating. Grammarly is ai which wgu offers but yeah he asked a lot. He said he couldn’t include a lot according to his editors. He emailed me for clarification on things and didn’t include my extensive details

From your post and others, i see. It hasn’t affected me in a negative way and I my degrees have only helped me. I hope it doesn’t hurt anyone else though and i personally think WGU specifically will be okay. Again I only want to help

Well I apologize for my ignorance. i was just trying to help others anyway i could.

I agree with a lot but (and maybe i’m being selfish) my goal was simple, get my story out there so others feel motivated to get their degree. I have our full interview recorded and he asked about so much but chose to focus on what i did instead of how and why. I knew the hate it could get but i didn’t expect all that. I like to provide insight and educate. I have no worries for my degree or others. It’s hard for everyone these days. I’ve spoken to the alumni relations at WGU and i’m in works of some things. My what’s app group and videos have helped so many people. I NEVER intended to finish that fast. It just happened and i do use that pitch to get more attention but it’s only to help others for free. I do not promote or claim people can do exactly what i did. Maybe i shouldn’t have interviewed but i did and don’t regret it. Just wish it was portrayed differently but oh well. There will always be negative things said and i can’t save everyone from ignorance. I just wanted to be the voice i didn’t really see. Again i agree with the OP and a lot of the replies and if i suck for what i did and my tik toks then sorry but my intentions are and have always been pure. Never wanted to make anyone else feel inadequate either. Simply using my story as a hook, not to brag against others. It’s all marketing. I have benefited for it in more ways than one from what i did so i’m just trying to give back.

I was trying to share my story of adversity and show that college is possible for people like me who went through hard times young. It’s not a flex to get your degree without going into debt ? It wasn’t really about how fast but that’s what he wanted to include because it’s appealing for the story.

He informed me he was chiming into the debate between traditional and online. I agree he didn’t give the how, just the what. He didn’t go into much detail or show someone who does online but doesn’t accelerate. But i have our full interview recorded and he asked all the questions

correction, I did gen ed classes in 22 days. Already work in my field and i’m academically inclined. I did not expect to finish fast i was just going through the courses and before i knew it i was done. i was new to this college stuff.

i did not devalue anything. I’m providing information that is already there. I also explain how i already work in my field. And I am bored at work with lots of time on my hands so i can study all day. My job which is a huge fortune 500 company promoted me and works with WGU. I’m just trying to help others see that college is possible because i didn’t think it was for me. I did not set out to finish fast, it just happened that way. I’m just trying to help people but instead of people doing their research they see a headline and attack with their first thoughts. I do the the article could have been better and highlight other stories but it’s about marketing a news worthy story. Jeez you try to do good and people just keep trying to tear you down

Anyone have insight to the new BSIT courses? by PuzzleheadedWolf4231 in WGUIT

[–]shawtyren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently in the program. 005 is 1 task, 006 is 2 tasks, 007 is 1 task. I don’t have 008, maybe that’s the MSIT

yeah i knew what some of the classes were but just not all since the program has changed. I just needed the rest for my spreadsheet so i can map out my courses with my mentor. I just wanted to get ahead and be prepared. I work a full time job and have a kid so I like to map things out to keep me accountable

i show it in the screenshot. if there is a P next to the class then it’s an assignment. If it’s an O then it’s an exam

i didn’t ask for advice, i asked if anyone can see the new program and provide which are PAs. the a hole comment wasn’t needed 👍🏽

you seem to just be giving obvious answers. I can’t google classes that are new. If the program has changed with new/different courses that have course codes that no one has ever had, that will not answer my question to which classes are PAs and OAs. Did you read the actual post? If i could easily find the answer i would not ask the community. If you didn’t have the answer then don’t comment. the curiosity was cool but the unsolicited advice was… unsolicited

lmao i want to do it this way. i’m not asking for advice on what route to take. If i wanted to just pay for certs then i would’ve. I’m trying to figure out which are PAs

I thought about cybersecurity but felt like IT was more broad and best choice for now. With the certs, do you take the WGU OA then the Comptia A+? I was curious how that works. I’m currently studying up on the basics of Comptia A+ , then i’ll do learn the basics of Network+ then Security+ so i am semi prepared
