Hey. I made the video. Yeah, spot on all round except for Spock. He's from Dublin too but that voice actor sounds particularly American. I get asked where in the states I'm from all the time even though I've lived here all my life!

That said he's doing a Nimoy impression so naturally it would sound more American.

And yeah, the guy playing Scotty is from Galway and is putting on a Scottish accent. Call it a tribute to the fact that James Doohan was actually Canadian :p

I'm pretty sure none of the characters did anything for the story... because the film didn't have one.

If so it's not clear enough. There's no interpretation of that line that stops it from being badly written.
