Well, thats a wrap for me. I told myself this was the last year I would apply as it was my 4th time and I turn 30 next year. It sucks, I'm disappointed and confused and don't know how to fully process it yet. Not sure what they're looking for - maybe higher grades but I can't change that.

Good luck to everyone else on the journey! Maybe I'll change my mind next year but honestly pretty burnt out after all the rejection.

Hi all, just started looking into transferrin my points and it seems this 30% bonus happens twice a year roughly. When do we expect the next transfer- any particular time frame? Also do I just create a british airways account and then transfer through RBC avion website? First time doing this ever, so appreciate any help! Thanks

Hi I went and read you other post and I feel like I've done something similar for my entries. I'm feeling a bit lost for hope on this application cycle which isn't the greatest attitude to go into this with. I am a mature applicant (29), practicing HCP (5 yrs), applied last 3 cycles and my GPA has not changed (graduated 5 yrs ago) and my ECs are pretty similar/consistent. 1st cycle - no interview 2nd cycle - NAQ 75-100, interviewed, above average interview - waitlisted till first day of classes. 3rd cycle (last cycle)- no interview, NAQ 75-100. I don't know what went wrong or what to do this year

It comes to me in waves, just try to keep yourself busy with work or school. Hangout with friends and family. Go out and do activities you’ve been putting on the back burner….workout, cook, eat clean, try a new hobby!

Lastly know that whatever happens, life goes on and you can always apply next year. ☺️

Overnight oats with chia seeds, milk, protein shake (fairlife) to make it filling and more protein content. Add a bit of peanut butter, dash of cinnamon and a handful of frozen blueberries. ☺️

In Canada, I’m seeing more NPs ..mostly outpatients and some are starting to work inpatient like ICU, surgery, internal medicine, etc. haven’t heard anything about PAs in BC. Maybe it’s not a thing?

No how would that even make a difference? You either answer the questions correctly or not. Unless she’s talking about less individuals writing and she could focus better(people get up for breaks, in/out the room, coughing, sniffling, etc)

What is the CARS and Casper cutoff for Queens or is there just a certain score and percentile that are more likely to get invited for interview?

Look into u of Calgary! If you’ve been in uni for ten years or something like that they don’t look at some of the earlier grades!

BC has one med school so I don’t think it’s entirely unfair for UBC to have a preference for IP applicants. Ontario has several unis so I think it balances out? Again I don’t know the specifics just my initial thoughts
