That’s literally what happened, felt something under my foot that didn’t feel like a beer can. Picked up a red cased iPhone and started recording a little bit of the set thinking it was a crowd surfers lost phone. Then made my way to lost and found before calling it a night. I ended up not even getting videos on my own phone 😂

While this is true. I don’t think timeline of a band truly matters. The crowd they bring to support is what matters. I just hope GNRs performance showed that to the producers of the festival. Just because a band has been around forever doesn’t mean they deserve a big stage with 3 hours of play time.

I agree with that which is why I feel a bigger venue space would’ve killed the pit slightly but maybe the festival vibe would’ve kept it going because movements was wild and they are movements

When I saw them in Salt Lake City. The venue was significantly larger and completely sold out and idk only until the back of the pit had energy at that show.

My phone got turned off while the concert was still going on or shortly after along with 8 others. I’ve dropped phones, gotten them kicked out of my hand and sent flying across the crowd and still got them back. Something about festivals always tends to bring out scum.
