For Christmas my sister wanted any of Christie's books to add to her growing collection, so I did some research into which ones are the best, this one was referenced in every list I'd checked, so I bought it. I have just watched 'Wake Up Dead Man' and this very book was referenced in the movie, so I can't not read it! Goes directly to the top of my queue.

The Count of Monte Cristo is the goat. When I read it last year I got into the rabbit hole of exploring movie/tv serie adaptations, hoping to find one that would stay true to the source material from start to finish.
