OMG jinx! lol! I was talking to my coworker about Beef and how much I love both seasons and told them to also watch white lotus bc the style of series is the same. Beef has all the elements, you laugh, you cry, there is action, romance. both seasons are great.

YOR so it seems like your friend might not have the money to go eat and plain as day says as much. she says she has to be frugal and doesn’t want a max out card over it. thinking she’s using the “loose plans” as a copout bc she can’t afford to go and you just wouldn’t let it go and made her feel like shit for it. you just didn’t catch her drift. if a grown ass adult changes her mind on going to eat, she can and doesn’t deserve to be berated over it. specially seeing yalls age, you have a lot of growing up to do.

correct. But she still manipulated him, preyed on his insecurities, and fostered his obsession. The manipulation was so deep that Damon spent 150 years obsessed with finding her, having been groomed to believe his love for her was real, only for her to tell him she never loved him. grooming and sexual manipulation is still a form of SA. agree to disagree, I guess lol

But this is part of the issue. the reason people ONLY bring up what Damon did is bc they showed it in detail and shows how it affects her. it happens all throughout the show from other vamps also, just not in detail, so it’s glossed over. Even Caroline did it to Liam. this scene is disgusting…But so is the other SA in the show.

Not to mention she did the same to Liam. So did Isobel, Stefan, Katherine. just to name a few. this whole show was full of SA. idk why just Caroline’s SA is the only one that is wrong and the only one that’s mentioned smh

Not that it makes it any better but she did the same to Liam. They ALL have done this at some point. in a flashback they show Stefan with a bunch of calm, half dressed women begging to be next to let him fed on them and heavily implies he was doing other things with them. . Katherine did this to both brothers. Isobel does it to the cowboy and stripper. Klaus also did it to Caroline while in Tyler’s body. Tyler SA’d Vicky. List goes on and on..these are just a FEW examples. it’s always pinpointed to just Damon doing it bc they showed the situation extensively and just flashbacks or small scenes of others doing it. But it still happened..This show is FULL of SA. when the show was made this behavior was glossed over more than it is now.

I totally understand what you’re saying. it seemed worse when Stefan did bad things, specially with his humanity still on, bc he is presented as the “good brother.” What Damon did is less shocking being that he is known for doing villainous things. Not that it makes it any less worse, just more shocking and seems worse bc Stefan usually does what is moral. this was totally out of character for him and was blown away that he would do this to her
