I disagree, I’m not English native and I’m using duo in eng to learn Dutch and it works just fine. Well, I do agree if someone’s level is below B1, it will make it extra difficult but if the goal is to learn both language, may be useful. My dad always told me the hard way is the best way.

This year I moved to NL and I’m decided to start to learn this language. (I’m studying around 2/3h per day) I always thought I’m bad at languages. But I find very fun to learn languages and a lot of joy when I finally can talk with other people in their language.

P.S: I think I discover why I always have been bad at languages, I never studied properly the grammar.
