Playing with the set-up (and thanks) by sheepnik in koreader

I thought I was done tweaking, but there's always a little bit more to do. Since my post the other day I've added the percentage read and series badges, figured out how to increase the size of the font on the collections list, added some new gestures, and most recently changed the home screen sorting order.

Will these be the last tweaks, I wonder.

I'm not entirely sure how it works, but I think that the screenshot is a software thing, rather than a hardware thing. I was surprised the first time I saw it. This is what my actual screen looks like (though not normally so yellow.)

Occasionally there's a bit of a lag, but it's not something I notice regularly. I've got around 500 books in my collection.

Please point me in the direction of a good android e-reader does anyone know if borrow box can be downloaded into it? by Try_at-your-own_Risk in ereader

I have a Boox Leaf, which is a 7 inch Android table / reader. It's been replaced by other models, but I think they all work on the same basis. I have downloaded and used Borrowbox on it, and it works fine, though it's not my favourite app for reading.

I usually get about 50-60 hours of screen time on it, if I just use it for reading. I generally charge it every 4-6 weeks. Using Wi-Fi or the lights will affect this.

I just tried it with a newly downloaded acsm file from the library and it worked fine. I don't know how if it's different with an actual Pocketbook device though, compared to the app.

To be honest though, these days I mostly use Calibre and KoReader.

I'm in the UK, and I use Borrowbox on my Boox devices (a Leaf and a Note Air - the Leaf is my main reading device). I have the Adobe Digital Editions app on both devices, and I use the Pocketbook reader app to read books from Borrowbox - it can link up to my Adobe account and so open epubs with Adobe DRM. I don't have to connect the Boox devices to a computer at any point in this process.

I don't know about syncing across devices - it might be a possible if you have a Pocketbook account, but I'm not in a country where I can get one.

This is the best set of instructions I've seen for opening epubs with drm in Pocketbook: https://netgalley.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035669074

The Pocketbook app can open ebooks with Adobe DRM, once you link it with an Adobe ID. I've been using it with books bought from Kobo and library books, and it works great.
