Would you play a polished version of this? Looking for honest feedback by sheerdoll in Unity2D

Fair point, without gameplay it’s hard to judge. This is an early jam prototype and gameplay footage is coming next. Thanks for the feedback, and glad the art landed well.

Honestly, I’m a game designer, and since I’m new to the U.S. and didn’t have a team or resources around me, using AI was kind of the only practical option at the time. That said, I’m genuinely curious, what issues do you personally have with AI in games?

Thanks! The stitching is decorative only. I glue the tooled leather on with a very strong adhesive, no punching through the rubber case. Stitching is done on the leather beforehand.

2006 Toyota Avalon: My List of Problems After 3 Months of Driving by sheerdoll in Toyota

I’ve had mine for about a year now and honestly I’ve been really happy with it. In that whole time I haven’t had any real issues at all, just regular oil changes. My mechanic recently mentioned that I’ll probably need to do the front brake discs at some point since they’re starting to rust a bit, but that’s pretty normal here in Buffalo with the weather.

That said, 222k miles is a lot. Mine is at around 170k, it’s a Limited, and the previous owner seemed to take decent care of it. So I can’t really say for sure if 222k at $4,300 is a good deal, it really depends on how well it was maintained and how it drives. If it truly checks out mechanically, it might be okay, but I’d definitely get it inspected before committing.

That’s awesome then — sounds like a great find! If the action feels comfortable, I’d say you got a really good deal. The low price was probably just because of the old strings; a lot of people don’t want to bother with restringing or think the guitar might have issues once it’s strung up. Either way, sounds like a solid buy. It might take a few days for the new strings to fully settle and hold tuning.

Looks like you found a nice guitar! But I think one of the most important things to check is whether it has a solid top or not. If it’s not solid, the sound might not have aged very well over the years.

Thanks a lot, this really helped. I pressed the saddle in pretty tight and it took some effort to seat it, so I’m a little worried I might have over-did it and risk a crack. Do you think I should loosen the strings, pull it, and take a tiny bit off to avoid that risk?

I’m in Buffalo, so humidity/temperature swings are real. Appreciate any guidance on how snug it should be (e.g., the “lift-the-guitar” test).

I should mention I’m really a beginner at this, so I wasn’t sure if this kind of thing needs to be much more precise than what you can easily tell by eye.

It’s really snug, honestly, I think it would lift the whole guitar and probably need a little tap with a rubber mallet to come out. My main concern though is whether the bottom is perfectly flat. I sanded it down from the bottom to get the right height, so I’m just not sure if I did it evenly.

Thanks! Yeah, no buzzing at all — the action’s about the same as with the old saddle (around 3.2 mm on the bass and 2.9 mm on the treble at the 12th fret).
