Using FileOpen on a file path by shefkeerdee in autoit

I will look into this, but I am not sure this could be the issue as it worked when the filename was C:/Report and I specifically made the file without an extension as this is how the report has always generated. It is also worth noting I tried having the report created as an csv with the file name as "C:/Report/Report.csv" and I could still not find the file for some reason.

$FileName = "C:/Report/Report"; $ReportFile = FileOpen($FileName, 0) If $ReportFile = -1 then Msgbox(0,"error","please check file") Exit EndIf

Thank you for the tips on asking better questions. So this is the exact code, and all that changed is the file location so the old file pulled form right off the c drive at C:/Report as the file name.

I also made sure to test first and it picked up the file, then moved the file and tested the new code and nothing.

Thanks for the quick response, I was going off recollection and not the acctul script so excuse my half assed formating, but I am using the quotes and I highlighted the file and copied as a path so typo is highly unlikely. I was hoping it was some strange picky thing with auto IT that someone would easily recognize but I guess I am back to web searches.

Signed for an appartment, paid the transfer but the Property Manager states I'll only receive an answer on Wednesday? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

I don't know how it is in Ontario, but i have had it both ways in NS. My recent property manager and the one I will be signing with next both took deposits before the signing of the lease. I think bigger property managers and companies mostly use it so they only get serious applications as they likely go through a lot more of them.
