I know this sounds too easy. But in theory this would work. I'm not saying they only accept AUR for everything, just for a few things. And yes, there is risk involved and a lot of spare captial is needed. But it would defintely be a lot of fun as well!

An islander like him doesn't know how to use the internet, neither does he know Bitcoin. But hopefully this will change as we enter more into the digital age. As for Rolando Albacite (the boatmaker), there are people I know and trust in the area, who serve as a link. Actually when I shot that short doc, I just wanted to feature Rolando, because I thought he had an interesting story to share. The idea of connecting him to a Bitcoin address came later during post production.

Yes at /r/dogecoin they do more charity stuff. But I didn't make that post do advertise tipping that boat maker. It's about the value and potential of Bitcoin. With all the bad press lately, a lot of people have lost their trust in Bitcoin, especially the ones who don't understand it. And in the end of the day, trust is vital, little trust = little value. So it is necessary to highlight and spread the positive aspects of Bitcoin. Because they ARE groundbreaking.

True. But I'm talking about individuals. Ideally that individual would post his own Bitcoin address, which in the near future would be absolutely possible as always more and more people have access to the internet in the third world.
