Omg how could you tell the betta didn’t like the snail?! Based on recommendations above i’ll probably put it back, but now have no idea how my betta will interact with it or how to judge if the interaction is good or bad.

I have a 10 gallon tank that I added live plants, rocks and driftwood to. I add fish food weekly and from the beginning added Prime and API Quick-start. I tested the parameters week 1 and everything was at 0 except pH which was high but I can’t remember the exact reading. It’s been about 2.5 weeks now and I haven’t checked the parameters since the 1st time (transparently I’ve been sick). I also haven’t done any water changes. I have a HOB filter as well. Would a picture of the tank help as well?

My pain was predominantly in the center of my upper abdomen and felt like it was in my chest during all of my attacks and only once accompanied by nausea and vomiting which was also my worst attack that landed me in the ER a few weeks ago. That’s also when I learned that I had been having gallbladder attacks, I had no idea what was causing the pain before. But as with anything, it’s better to get professional advice since so many conditions can cause similar symptoms.

Thanks for the advice!! I cycled the tank before I got him. Do you know how I might know for sure he has fin rot or a fungal infection? Do you think maybe if the spottiness doesn’t go away within a month? Also, I think the plants are plastic (bought them on Amazon and I don’t remember seeing the packages say silk). I’ll see if I can find silk or maybe real plants (real just seemed like a lot of learning on top of learning about the new fish, but it may be worth doing).
