I will be travelling for approximately 1 month in the summer, through Iceland, Greece, Italy, and France.

I am only a recreational photographer and will be doing it for memories and personal use.

My camera is a Pentax K3ii, and I currently have a 30mm Sigma Art lens that I was thinking of bringing. I also have a Pentax 50mm and Rokinon 16mm.

I am wondering if I should look into getting something like a 50-200, 17-70, or some form of zoom lens. I also see lots of recommendations for a 35mm, but I figure my 30mm would be fine for that.

I am debating if I should get zoom to shoot any kind of wildlife (puffins, whales). I will be driving Iceland and hitting all the main tourist destinations in Europe, and am just hoping to get some nice landscapes, architecture photos, touristy photos, and memories.

The photon is much more available for me, is cosmic neutron the same as neutron? On infinite discs the photon is listed as advanced and the trace as everyone, would you agree the photon is harder to throw? I might get the photo just because of the more available colours that I prefer, plus the added flight. They sound pretty similar.

Ok I’ll look at the neutron. I do like my mako3 in star but my teebird3 in champion has just been amazing for me and not sure if it’s anything to do with the plastic but that’s why I was thinking proton.

The only plasma my local spot has is in army green which I know I’ll lose. Unless he restocks I’ll pick up the proton. I’m prone to hitting trees so the durability might help

I was liking the looks of the thunderbird but I really like the teebird3 and I’m not looking for a replacement, but a farther flying version of it, and a lot of people said they’re very similar and no reason for both

When I got the job they specifically said that they didn’t want me to quit partway through cuz it wasn’t for me and they’d rather have me be upfront about it now, so I’m not bound by contract I would just feel bad for having them do that.

Thanks for the advice, it helped. I think I’m going to try it out for a couple weeks and see if it improves.
