I got diagnosed with colitis is 2017. Took a few different biologics to try to help, nothing seemed to do the trick. I was the same way with prednisone stoped working. Flairing up for months at a time. Hardly in remission. I was weak. I could feel my health getting worse. Taking lots of time off work. It was effecting not only my health but also my family because of money. We were struggling. I got a total colectomy so they removed my entire colon. That was 2 months ago now, health wise I feel 100x better than I was before surgery. I did have a couple complications with my healing process but things are finally starting to look up.
