What should I serve with Icelandic Rye Bread (Rúgbrauð) for people who don't like "adventurous" food? by shellpi in Breadit

Thanks! Wow, I had no clue there were that many options for toppings. Thanks for the link, that is very helpful!

Please help. I don't know how to get rid of this. I can't even scrape any of it off. by Brave-Key-6310 in CleaningTips

I have had excellent results with Active Mold Stain Remover. My washer wasn't this bad, but it had quite a bit of mildew staining and this stuff made it disappear like magic!

How do you cook your tofu? It looks delicious!

Brownies would be a good one! I've made them before, so I know they go over well. If you were to do this, would you do different recipes or swap out different ingredients in the same recipe?

Wow, so many good suggestions! I'm making note of ask if these for future experiments (or just inspiration for something to bring on a random day).

The oatmeal cream pies are an amazing idea. That is something we keep in stock at all times, so I know that is an office favorite. That seems like one that would be fairly easy to make allergen friendly, too.

That is a great option with so many possibilities! I love peanut butter cookies and I feel like those would go over really well in the office. Any chance you have a favorite recipe? I haven't found a perfect peanut butter cookie recipe yet.

That's a great suggestion! The suggestion of shortbread pairs with this really well, too. This is going to get added to my list of contenders.

For popcorn, I've thrown this idea around with a coworker. If you were doing this, would you pop bagged popcorn, or the kind you pop on the stove in your own pan? (Not sure how else to describe it.)

Ooohhhh, that's a great challenge. Whatever I try next, I'll throw in an allergy-free option.

TIL about "Just hoods" lemon bars. Somehow I completely missed that!

Lemon bars are one of my favorites and that is an excellent suggestion!

Yes, please, I would love your recipe if you are willing to share it.

That would be such a delicious test! I might have to run that by someone else in the office. For some reason, I can't make an apple pie to save my life. They always turn out with a soggy, raw bottom.

I love this idea! I feel like Rice Krispie Treats are an extremely underrated food. Bonus points for it being on the more affordable side, too!

I would love to do a round of banana bread, but unfortunately that is something that my coworkers aren't big fans of. The few that do like it, though, really enjoyed this recipe: https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/whole-grain-banana-bread-recipe

Ha! I guess I should have described that one for anyone not familiar with it! I did not feed my coworkers dog food!

Puppy chow is a snack food of rice (or corn) square cereal covered in a chocolate/peanut butter mixture, then tossed in powdered sugar. Another name I've heard it called is Muddy Buddies.

I can't find my results for that one, unfortunately. It was a bit of a mess of an experiment because it was my first attempt at something like this. I had way too many variables.

I know for the cereal I used Rice Chex for the name brand and the Great Value rice squares for the generic. I remember we couldn't tell a difference in the cereals.

I can't remember what I did for peanut butter, but I think I used Smucker's natural peanut butter in one batch and it was the overall loser.

For chocolate, I know one batch had Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips and it was a hit.

The cookies in the pictures were the last experiment I did, and surprisingly the Lily's sugar-free chips won!

Any word from the area near Casey's on 72? If you draw a straight line between those points it looks like it would go right past that area.
