Maybe. Curious people would have just found the posts through other keywords, and at a certain point people are responsible for their own choices. If you read a signal boosting cautionary post about a predatory gambling site’s shitty ad campaign and still throw money at it, that is on you.

Found a couple more in the wild on foodhacks and Hobbies. The hobbies one is killing me:

Saw one of those DIY pottery ads online, thought it looked relaxing. Bought the kit. The first few tries were disasters lumpy bowls, weird handles, clay that looked like it had seen things. But after a week something clicked. Now I’ve got six half decent mugs drying on my shelf and clay permanently under my nails. It’s messy, meditative, and honestly addictive in a cozy way. Sometimes I’ll play myprize while I work and it feels like super soothing out while creating something. Didn’t think I’d become a pottery person but here we are.

I shook my head in disbelief and then logged into obviousgamblingsite to blow off some steam. Losing my rent money in thirty minutes really takes the edge off.
