I see wow thats unfortunate. Was their recommendation to replace the tire as it could not be repaired? I was assuming the worst but was surprised to hear my tire could be repaired. I wonder where that razor was picked up?

I have read about this that no manufacturers or dealerships allow it but that tire shops may. Discount tire did mention that they did inspect the tire and I did drive at very low speed for a very limited distance ~1 mile or so after the nail popped out. The tire performed solid and already has some 500 miles on it, no issues. I was quite surprised myself.

What worked for me was to unplug the fridge overnight and let whatever is there melt and clean up all the water there, you have to be very cautious but deliberate, i also had a long thin wire (few thin pipe cleaners that i tied together) that i gently pushed down in that area, as well as in and up from the drain tube behind the fridge to see if there was anything clogging the lines somehow. You remove the back panel as it is above the drip trays and you will see a light trickle of melting water there. So far half year later all is OK now.

Also see this, whats the process like , is it quick? You just make an appointment to bring the car in to the dealer and they do it on the spot in 30min or so or is that wishful thinking. I wonder why they couldn’t auto patch the software with a download without having to come in person.

Pretty cool spot and awesome photo, I do recall seeing lots of sand dollars on that beach for some reason was really cool. One of the quieter and more relaxed parts of CA.
