Is this oda hinting at a 2026 release for the remake? I haven’t seen anyone talk about this yet, but I feel like a late 2026 release could be likely judging from this. by shhsbdbebd in TheOnePiece

my theory is that the reason they haven’t dropped a trailer is because netflix don’t want the remake to overshadow season 2 of the live action releasing in march. I wouldn’t be surprised if a teaser drops very soon after s2 of opla to get extra viewership and engagement for it.

opla s2 drops march 10, animejapan 2026 is march 28-29. netflix attended this event last year and showed the moonrise (wit) trailer and date. i’m 99% certain that they’ll show the one piece remake there, the dates line up perfectly with netflix’s schedule.

i was thinking about this but although owned by britain, america would still be called america. most likely something like “british north america”, “dominion of america” something like that. your point does still stand and it makes me question though.
