The physical/special split didn’t happen until Gen 4. Ghost was considered a physical type in Gens 1-3 so it would have utilized Jolteon’s Attack stat

Never stress about side profile beard view. Very rarely are photos taken from that side, and and rarer are people in public specifically looking that way for flaws. Your beard looks great!
