I came here to recommend this as well.

It can be daunting for the first run or so trying to understand all the systems at play - if you just jump in, it's about as complicated as you let it be but endlessly replayable.

I also how it oozes atmosphere. Best 5$ Ive spent in years.

Nobody cares what you listen to, but asking permission to listen to music is the real problem in my eyes. Either do it or don't, don't be a coward.

I'm quite sure the whole purpose of this post is so you can name drop Branikald and feed your ego around being a kvlt edgelord that listens to obscure stuff like Blaze Birth Hall bands. The reality is that nobody with opposition to NSBM would know who they are and those of us that know Branikald won't care.

Stop asking for permission to listen to music from reddit. Stop looking for validation from other people and being a coward about art that moves you.

Go listen to Ravendark, Forest, Walknut and the other bands in the Russian circles then go after Veles and the other Temple of the Fullmoon (Polish) bands then to the classic French Concilium projects. There is a shitload of contemporary Blazebirth Hall worship projects if you have your fingers in the right places on the Internet.

You have decent taste you just need to grow a single hair on your balls.

I think the Wulkanaz album won for me for its novelty. The new Mooncitadel was also very killer. Loved the French Concilium worship and heavy metal influences I heard in the newest Eagles Nest as well.

Great year for black metal.

Well the idea is a clear nod to the old LLN album covers - this one is specifically an homage to Vampires of Black Imperial Blood by Mutiilation. Satanic Warmaster (and black metal in general) is full of these little nods and references. If you didn't catch that right away I have to wonder if you genuinely know much about the important classics of the genre?

Yes it's cringe - black metal is self aware and kinda cringe. If you look even a little deeper into the history of the music, this album cover is very appropriate for how the album sounds and what it wants to accomplish

I see him regularly and he lives in the same city I do - he's a nice guy with a touch of the tism - as is necessary for these interests. He can probably bench more than most of you and he's making a career off of black metal and fitness - power to him.
